Paxos y Antipaxos<\/a><\/strong> — The classic Corfu day trip. Turquoise lagoons, the Blue Caves, Voutoumi beach on Antipaxos, and a stop in the Venetian harbour of Gaios. Allow a full day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sivota and the Blue Lagoon<\/a><\/strong> — The mainland coast opposite Corfu hides some of the most striking scenery in Greece. Sivota’s sheltered bays and the famous Blue Lagoon are best reached by boat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Best Time to Rent a Boat in Corfu<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The season runs from May through October. June and September offer the best combination of warm water, calm seas, and fewer crowds. July and August are peak season — the days are longer and hotter, and the most popular beaches can get busy, which is all the more reason to arrive by private boat before the tour groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

May and October are quieter still. The water is cooler but swimmable, and you will find the islands in a more peaceful, authentic state. We recommend full-day rentals during these months to make the most of the daylight.<\/p>\n\n<\/section>\n\n\n
