Every charter includes professional-grade snorkelling equipment: masks, snorkels, and fins in a range of sizes to fit all guests. The masks are anti-fog treated and the fins are adjustable, eliminating the common frustrations of rental gear that does not fit or fogs up after thirty seconds.<\/p>\n
The Ionian Sea around Corfu is rich with marine life that rewards even casual snorkelling. In the rocky shallows, you will find octopus tucked into crevices, moray eels peering from holes in the reef, damselfish in schools of electric blue, and ornate wrasse in iridescent green and orange. Sea urchins are common on rocky bottoms — another reason we provide reef shoes. Around Paxos and the Diapontische Inseln<\/a>, the water clarity often exceeds fifteen metres, making snorkelling feel more like flying than swimming.<\/p>\n Your captain knows the best snorkelling spots on every route and will position the boat for optimal access to underwater features — drop-offs, caves, reef walls, and sandy channels between rocks.<\/p>\n The inflatable SUP board is the choice for guests who want to explore at surface level. Standing on the board, you can see down into the water below, paddle into shallow caves too tight for the boat, and explore the shoreline at your own pace. On calm mornings, paddling across a glassy bay with nothing but the sound of the paddle breaking the surface is a form of meditation.<\/p>\n Our SUP boards are stable, wide-platform designs suitable for beginners and experienced paddlers alike. They inflate in minutes and come with an adjustable paddle. For those who prefer to sit, the boards work equally well as kayak-style platforms — sit down, use the paddle from a seated position, and let your legs dangle in the water.<\/p>\n The SUP is particularly popular at sheltered locations like Agni Bay, the bays around Palaiokastritsa<\/a>, and the calm waters off the Ksamil islands where the shallows extend for hundreds of metres.<\/p>\n Not every moment on the water needs to be active. For the stretches between swims, between destinations, between courses at a floating lunch, we carry inflatable floating mats and loungers that turn the sea itself into a resting place. Deploy the mat off the swim platform, lie back, and let the current do the thinking.<\/p>\n The floating mats are large enough for two people and sit just at the waterline, keeping you cool while you drift. They are particularly popular at anchor stops where the water is calm and the sun is high — exactly the conditions you find in the sheltered bays of Corfu’s northeast coast.<\/p>\n The details matter. All water toys and equipment listed above are included at no additional charge on every SeaDreamers charter. There are no hidden extras for equipment use.<\/p>\n Children aged eight and above can use the sea scooter under adult supervision. The controls are simple and intuitive. Your captain will demonstrate the device and supervise initial use.<\/p>\n Life jackets and buoyancy aids are available for all guests. The floating mats and SUP board can be enjoyed without swimming ability. For snorkelling and sea scooter use, basic swimming competence is recommended.
